BERT STEPHANI is an internationally known professional photographer, mostly known for his creative portraiture, commercial work and his lighting style. Bert is also a passionate teacher who’s frequently asked to conduct workshops, seminars and lectures in Belgium and the rest of Europe. Bert doesn’t believe in ’secrets’ and is always willing to share everything he knows.

What ?
I love the outdoors, even in bad weather. The forest can be an inspiring location with all it’s textures, colors and compositional elements. But it’s also comes with a set of potential problems: green color casts, fast changing light conditions and a number of organizational problems.
On this shooting day, we are going to use the forest as a backdrop for a fashion shoot with a female model. We will use the beauty of the forest to make great images and battle all the problems that come with shooting on such a location with additional lighting and tons of creativity. We will create different atmospheres by exploring light, composition and poses.
By the end of the day, you will have your memory cards filled with lots of portfolio shots with very different moods.

When ?

For who ?
You don’t need to be a very experienced shooter to participate in this shooting day, a good understanding of the basics of photography is enough. More experienced photographers are very welcome too. Because we will work with only 4 participants there’s plenty of time for very individual guidance.
Mind you, this is not a shooting day for couch potatoes or people that handle their gear like an unstable gas grenade. You will probably get dirty and we’ll do the shoot even if it rains.

Price

This includes personal guidance, lunch, lighting gear and model fee.
