I think I am at the same point in my skills as the example you gave where you said you learned so much after going to a class I think I have gone as far as I can on my own and from reading and self teaching you have inspired me to take a serious look at some classes

Hi Bert,

Just a correction when you mentioned.. marketing mix refers to the 4 P's, which are: Product, Place, Price and Promotion.

I guess what you meant was you wanted a diverse set of advertising campaigns in order to have far more "reach" of the market.

Hello Bert and Pieter,

Thanks for answering my question as well. I will get I good monitor and a calibration tool. Currently I'm working on a laptop that gives different pictures at any angle. It won't be cheap, but it will give my reliable result and some inner peace :D.

The part of this podcast you talked about marketing will be very useful for other photographers. I use the same marketing tool as Bert (now and then print a photo and give it away). Another way of very good marketing is verbal marketing your clients do. People talk about the good experience they had.

Thanks once more for a great podcast.

Hey guys, thanks for answering my question about the workshop!

About the calibration of the monitor: I have the same 'problem' that my pictures look different on other (mostly cheaps) monitors but it's not only the calibration that counts, it's also the light in the room that's important when reviewing pictures on screen of print.
