  1. Nice long podcast :) And are those airplanes I hear in the background?

@Pieter. I also am not yet confident when shooting people which I don’t know very good. I have to put up a mask and play very confident. This works most of the time, but not always. I think when you get more and more shoots, you’ll get the experience and be more confident. So it’s time and practice I need.

Thanks guys for another interesting podcast. Keep up the good work!

  2. Yihaaa …

I WILL include the “Pieter’s Pants” footage in the movie :p

  4. this podcast is my favorit of all times.. So much information, honesty and just being you.
@bert, I stand for horizontal scrolling, actually its kind of catchy, maybe a new hype that comes up.
thanks for sharing all this important information.

  5. One thing i wanna add to your “website” advice.
having your own domain got some advantage.
if you are using public service like blogger/wordpress, or even flickr as your main site. got to watch out since there are user from certain country can not visit.
For example, last 2 weeks, flickr was blocked here in china (so does twitter, and blogger is STILL blocked, wordpress/livejournal was blocked before. and I can’t still access HB’s Strobist site without going through proxy server!)
so having your own domain name is very important if you are targeting a worldwide audience

  6. (typo, i mean DH’s Strobist site, David Hobby’s… )

  7. Pieter was wrong, Bert was right :) haha
But ‘to partake’ exists! I was surprised…

Keep up the good work, always funny and a source of inspiration for me.

Bert, I have been inspired by your youtube videos and am in San Antonio, Texas. I own two 580exII speedlites and elinchrom wireless triggers. I have been shooting with them but need some guidance. Technically I know the equipment but lack the practice of the results you obtain that look so great like in episode two. Can you please email me so we can discuss further. I can also send you some of my photos I have recently taken. thank you so very much.

I finally had a chance to catch up on the last few episodes of LIME during a flight I took out to Key West, Florida to shoot a wedding — you guys are perverts! Well, okay, Pieter is… sometimes, I think the way he “captures the romance” is by dropping his pants and using his schnitzel to trap it. I love it!

This was a great episode — there are definitely tons of pros and cons with regards to flash vs. html websites and you guys touched on pretty much all of them. Looking forward to Episode 18!

Hi and thank you for this great podcast - this was my first episode and I will surely come back!
I am (slowly but surely) working on my first website and was wondering if you could tell me where to find these videos with website reviews you mentioned. Unfortunately, I didn’t understand the guys last name, so google didn’t help …

    Thanks a lot!
    Take care,
    Dana
