Extending the Bounce Competition

Normally today would have been the last day to enter the Bounce Video Competition. But for a couple of very good reasons we decided to extend it to the 28th of February:

- You have more time to get some views to your video. (But let’s make it clear that the amount of views only counts for a small part of the points. A fantastic or very informative video with just 1 view still stands a chance to win).
- We’ve had many many questions to extend the deadline from people who just need a bit more time to shoot/finish there video.
- Winning one of the great prizes is probably a bonus for all who enter but the true value of entering the competition is to share your knowledge, techniques and strategies. The more good content that’s out there the happier we are.

We won’t extend the competition any further than the 28th of February, so get a couple of friends together and start making your own Bounce Video.

On a little house holding note: we are very aware/ashamed that LIME has been a very quiet place for the last couple of months. Please forgive us for that and remember that we’re just a 2-man garage band that has to make sure we don’t have to sell our garage due to spending to much time on our hobby project and too little time on our ‘real’ jobs (if you can count photography as a ‘real job’). We are currently finishing the editing on some more informational video’s of the Bounce Squad trip and hope to show them to you soon.

  1. I see you just didn’t want to have me come to Belgium, so you extended the competition so hopefully someone else can take my place! The crotch bounce was just too much and you’re hoping to get some more serious videos up there?

Just kidding…I guess I can wait another 3 months :)

    Keep bouncing!

  2. Hi guys,

Well, this is good news for us who are feeling lazy. Hehehe..

Anyway, about the being a 2 man team.. I have some suggestions so you can spread the load.
    1. Make a forums - so that fans can start discussions even without you guys.
    2. Invite people to make their own podcasts/videos/articles.
    3. Your posts doesn’t have to be limited to the podcasts. Post update links to your own websites, other peoples websites.

Anyway, there are tons of info in the internet. Feel free to share them..

very nice suggestions indeed.. a forum would be great…
and we could centralize our creations, videos, photos, setups and experiences on this website…
that would be great, because i think this project has something different from the others on the net…
    Keep inspiring

  4. I have just red that Wordpress 2.9 will introduce “canonical plugins”. Plugins that will be maintained by the WP community. I hope a forum will be exists. No more problem when updating the WP that the plugin isn’t compatible anymore.

Why not a forum on the Lime website!

  5. Hey guys,

so when does the judging take place?

not like you’re busy making a lighting DVD or anything :)
